Hi, I’m Cristian Velásquez

I’m from Colombia, and I have worked with fabrics and looms for more than 16 years. I work with different techniques, I was a teacher in Colombia. Weaving represents a lot to me, it connects me with my roots, with my ancestors, it takes me to meditative states and deep introspection.

I currently live in Holland with my wife (Dutch) and my daughter. I have a deep passion for ancestral crafts and arts, I love teaching and sharing the knowledge that I have acquired during these years, I feel that it is the best way to continue growing.
